Edward’s List is an interactive website that aids in the ability to find work along with the ability for potential employers to place their future jobs on-line. The interaction occurs when you to attach your resume to a job that is listed on this website. This site also lets you create a resume by a series of prompts or you download your own resume. It also allows you to obtain referrals with a simple email. Once an email reply it is automatically posted on your resume.

Currently, many jobs are filled when the union faxes a list of names to someone hiring the night before the hired person has to show up for work. These lists are just that ‘lists’ with names, grouping, and Driver’s license that’s it. They say nothing about you as a person or about your qualifications. The person doing the hiring either has to know you, you have to be referred or you’re out of luck.

Now you can post your resume on line and look for jobs. Someone can actually see what your capable of and the level of experience you have. Everyone wants to hire someone that wants to work for them and everyone wants to have some control in the work they do. We all know a happy employee is a better employee. When you attach your resume to specific positions / jobs that interest you. The employer / boss can view your resume with a simple click. Referrals on your resume are pre-approved by those doing the referral. Giving you credible and accurate referrals.
